Payment Payment must be made in full before your order will be processed. For your security, all payments are processed through PayPal. To order you have a choice of using our secure online shopping cart or by phone 866-982-TACK (8225).

Security PayPal automatically encrypts all sensitive information sent between your computer and our servers, and they verify that your internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher. Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available). Your personal information stored on their servers is heavily guarded, both physically and electronically. To further shield your credit card and bank numbers, PayPal does not directly connect their firewall-protected servers to the internet. Read more about buying safely with PayPal.

Shipping We will make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours of placement. We use US Postal Service Priority Mail and UPS depending on ship to address. There is a flat rate charge of $7.50 for shipping in the United States. CANADIAN BUYERS: We charge a flat rate fee of $25.00 to ship to Canada. Order will be sent by USPS Priority Mail International.  Allow 6 - 10 business days for receipt of order. Canadian buyers are responsible for any duty and import fees charged by customs upon order reaching Canada. For express shipping we will give a price quote for both FedEx and UPS and charge the rate quoted to us. 

Pricing & Sales Prices are subject to change without notice due to the fluctuating price of top quality leather. Our prices are very competitive versus similar quality brands and do not feature the high markups of other manufacturer's bridles. We periodically offer sales and discounts either sitewide or on select products. Coupon codes will not be honored if a product is not listed as "on sale or reduced". If an item purchased at full price is put on sale within one week of purchase, customer will be entitled to the discount. After one week sale prices are not applicable.

Backordered and Out of Stock Items Due to limited quantities, popular items may sell out. If an item is out of stock and you would like to order it please call us at 866-982-8225. We will take your order and credit card number at that time. Your credit card will not be charged until the item ships. At the time of ordering an estimate will be given as to the approximate date the item will be in stock although we can not guarantee this date due to shipping delays. We will keep you up to date with the status of your back ordered item. We can no longer offer a pre-order discount for back ordered items.

Returns Our goal is your complete satisfaction. Items may be returned in any condition for exchange or refund within thirty days of order shipment. Items received for exchange or refund that are in unused condition will be credited. We do not refund any shipping charges. Buyer to pay for return shipping. Items received for refund that are in used condition will be refunded the full purchase price less a 30% restocking fee and less shipping. Refunds will be processed within two weeks of receipt of item. The original payment method used will be refunded. Please download this form if you need to return an item. Fill it out completely and enclose it with the item you are returning. Please return using US Postal Service Priority Mail with insurance for the total amount. If you have an issue with fit we can often times provide you with different sized pieces to get the best fit for your horse. Simply contact us and we will do our best to fit your horse.

If at any time the leather or workmanship fails to perform to your expectations, please contact us. We will repair to your satisfaction or replace the item in question free of charge. Buyer to pay for return shipping. Restrictions apply. Items sold as "Sample" are not covered due to them being one of a kind as well as being sold below wholesale cost.

Five Star Tack will not accept for return any leather that has been damaged or fails due to over oiling. Unlike some other brands, the Sedgwick leather used in our products does not require oiling prior to use. You will ruin the leather if you over oil it. Please see our Buying Guide for detailed information on caring for your Sedgwick leather tack. We also carry our own line of leather conditioner made specifically for Sedgwick leather.

The fastest and easiest way to contact us is through email. This way you will have a copy of your questions along with answers you can refer back to. Otherwise you may contact us by phone between the hours of 9 AM to 6PM Eastern time seven days a week excluding holidays. We will endeavor to answer your email within an hour of receiving it.

How We Use Your Information Five Star Tack’s order form requires customers to provide contact and billing information. We collect customer’s contact information (name, address and email address) and financial information (credit card numbers) in a 128 bit encrypted and secure environment. This information is only used to send orders. Financial information collected is used to check the customer’s qualifications and to bill the user for products and services.

Any and all information collected at FiveStarTack.com will be kept strictly confidential. Five Star Tack will never sell, lease, loan or disclose your personal information including your name, email address or any other information you provide on our website. We feel strongly about protecting your privacy and appreciate your interest in our company. Five Star Tack uses your email address as the primary form of contact. However, certain situations may be better communicated via a personal phone call and we will attempt to contact you at the phone number provided.

Five Star Tack maintains email lists to keep customers informed about sales and new product announcements. We do not sell, rent, loan or lease the addresses on our list to anyone.
